LCSD recently informed us that the fallen trees in North District Park would take a longer time to clear. As such, stage 3 event of Y2Y Trail O Tournament will be postponed to 17 November 2018.

Trail Orienteering
Trail orienteering (TrailO) is one of the four orienteering disciplines sanctioned by the International Orienteering Federation. As compared to the more common foot O in Hong Kong, TrailO emphasizes on participants’ map reading skills. Good physical fitness does not contributes directly to the success in TrailO.
During TrailO race, competitors are only allowed to move along the designated trail. Precise map reading skills, excellent terrain recognition and a clear mind are the keys to success in TrailO.
Y2Y TrailO League 2018
In 2012, OAHK has established a TrailO committee to promote trail orienteering in Hong Kong. Y2Y has started to organise TrailO events in the same year. Subsequently, TrailO is organized on the same date and venue as our ParkO, encouraging ParkO participants to give a try in TrailO.
To celebrate Y2Y 10th anniversary, in addition to the 10 stages of ParkO, we have selected 3 stages to organize Y2Y Trail O League 2018. All 3 stages will be in TempO format. We believe TempO is the competitive edge of Hong Kong athletes to excel in international TrailO events. Therefore, we hope this TrailO League does not only promote TrailO to new joiners but also provide an opportunity for athletes to up-skill their TrailO technique.

Stage 1
1/9 Lai Chi Kok Park [REMATCH]
Time: 1300-1500
Type: TempO (3-4 timed stations, 4 tasks at each station)
Deadline: 4/8

Stage 2
cum HKTOC(TempO) Qualification Event
9/9 Tin Shui Wai Park
Time: 1300-1500

Participants who wish to obtain a participation certificate for each stage should indicate in the entry form.

Top 3 participants in each class in each stage will be awarded with medals.
Trophy
The overall top 3 in each class will be awarded a trophy.

Participants can register by the following ways,
1. Register through the online registration system. (After a successful online payment, you will receive a confirmation email. That means your entry is successful.)
2. Online group registration and pay by cheque. Available for 5 competitors or more only. Please contact us via email to acquire Excel entry form.
No refund shall be made after successful registration. Any subsequent amendment will result in HK$50 administration fee.
Remarks
1. Event information will be uploaded on website: https://trail.orienteering.hk 5 days before the event. Participants must check the event information on their own.
2. Public Liability Insurance is covered by the organizer. Participants/Parents are advised to apply their necessary insurance.
3. The organizer reserves the final right for any amendment.
